Gift

December 30 – Gift Prompt: Gift. This month, gifts and gift-giving can seem inescapable. What’s the most memorable gift, tangible or emotional, you received this year? (Author: Holly Root)  

As much as I want to stray away from the corny and cliche on here, my biggest gifts this year have been things that you can’t measure. I am blessed each day by family and friends who mean the world to me. I have a job that may be frustrating at times, but makes me feel like I’m making a difference and gives me money for the material things in life. Most important, I am loved by a loving and forgiving God who promises me a life with Him after I leave this world. No gift can match that.
