RACE DAY

It is going really well right now. A few weeks ago I dealt with some leg pain in my left quad, but it has gone away and my past week’s runs have been pain free. I have been taking my two off days each week.

More importantly, the past few days I have been doing a few strength training exercises. It’s not much, but it is something to get me going. I know the importance of it, but I lack the motivation most of the time.

My long runs have been my favorite part. I love going out and pushing myself. I love that I can see myself going a little bit further each week. And when those long runs are going really good, I reaffirm that I want to start Marathon training once I finish this.

I love running.

I don’t know why strength training is always so difficult, but it always is for me. I’d rather just run all of the time. 🙂 Congrats on keeping with your schedule. Keep setting those goals high for yourself and keep accomplishing them. 🙂
